The spacing at the closest point of the three blue insulators for the rivets & where the 300 ohm connection is
I also picked up some flat aluminum strips that are 3' long and 1/2 " wide and about as thick as a dvd.
I figure I can cut them into sections of 7" long to make the zig-zag sections & 5" long for the top &
bottom straight parts of the Hoverman as I also picked up some plastic insulator material to make
insulators and I have quite a bit of square aluminum boom material from old tv antennas so I
should be able to replicate the Hoverman's in a bit beefier model that will take our winters better.
Let me know if you ever want to drop over & see all my antennas & take measurements of them.
I have the two corner reflector Winegards, An 8 bay original Channel Master 4228, 3 RS Hoverman's
a NOS 2 element hi band VHF Yagi with reflector & 300 ohm loop dipole, 3 Winegard HD4400 4 bays as well as various other 4 bays that I have been modifying.
I'm in East York on Cosburn Ave, half a block east of Woodbine Ave.
