Tweak on the Gen1 SBGH question

Ok, I have a question concerning the original Gray Hoverman design. While I have built several SBGH's, they have all been with a 36"W x 40"H mesh reflector with a 1"split in the middle. I have now run into a situation where I think that a colinear rod design may work a little better, though I've never built one. The elements I have are the 7" zigzags w/ 5.6" stubs. I have been using the 88mm spacing at the feed point with great success, and I'd like to do that with this one as well. My question is this: Can use the same colinear rod spacing and lengths as on the generation 1 design? Or, because I'm using an 88mm feedpoint instead of 44mm, will that change anything in the colinear rod gaps, spacing, or length?
I have been trying to find anything on this over the last week by reading through the forums (and getting distracted by the wealth of interesting information), but I can't seem to find anything concerning this. I'm not interested in building a "Gold Standard" model at this point, though that will probably be in the future. I'm just wanting to use the elements I already have, and make a simple build for a family member. Thank you, for any information. It's greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. It figures that I found the answer I was looking for on nikiml's antenna page AFTER I finally broke down and posted the question. Still though, I would welcome any thoughts on it anyways. Thank you.
