^ amazing that in the US, they embrace OTA channels, meanwhile in Canada Rogers/Bell, others don't by saying there is no market.

Here's another link with the same information posted about EscapeTV and GritTV... too bad most Canadians cannot pickup US OTA channels & subchannels within Canada.

ABN

The content on 26-4 would NEVER be allowed over the air in Canada. It's right wing Christian hate speech with an anti-science bent. How these channels survive is a mystery.

No Hate speech, just some non-politcally correct commentary.

Heroes & Icons -Weigel Broadcasting

With any luck, maybe a station in a market near you will pick this up?

http://www.chicagotribune.com/busine...929-story.html

Weigel Broadcasting launched another new station, available to prospective affiliates as another subchannel yesterday.

Picking it up on CBAND satellite here...

Was watching Batman earlier.

Wish a Buffalo station would grab it. Is there a web site?

Antennas Direct C2V antenna pointed @ curved building NE. DB4e pointed SSE. Cable free since May 2011.

I don't know. It actually sprung up last week or so on CBAND with promo loops. Couldn't find anything about it last week on the web. So they weren't kidding when
they said 'quietly launched'. Just not so quiet that we didn't know they were there testing

Figured since they launched Monday I'd look again this evening, and that article sprung up.

Only Buffalo station I can think of that might, would be WBBZ, since they already seem to have a relationship with Weigel.
In fact they have MeTV twice right now, so maybe they'll get the urge to put this one in the odd spot instead of a redundant MeTV. Just what I'd wish for anyhow...
Maybe a few emails are in order to help nudge them along?

Decades, New Diginet Coming in 2015

Weigel is launching another new subchannel called Decades which will air on all CBS O&O stations. Looks like another channel showing classic TV series (Happy Days, Cheers, etc.)

http://www.tvweek.com/tvbizwire/2014...-time-capsule/

WIVB (CBS affiliate) in Buffalo is not owned by CBS but is one of the few Buffalo stations that hasn't yet added a subchannel - maybe this would be on their radar?

I'm hoping WBBZ doesn't have their eyes on it since I can't receive it. I think CBS affilates will likely get first dibs, but since LIN owns a lot of stations it would likely have to reach a carriage agreement for all it's stations, and not just WIVB.

For what it's worth, 13 of LIN's 43 stations are CBS affiliates.

Thank you for taking the time to e-mail us regarding WGRZ 2.3. On Jan. 20th WGRZ 2.3 will transition to Justice Network. At this time I do not know if Antenna TV will be moved to another channel.

Actually, Justice Network looks like it has some interesting programming if you enjoy the Genre. I hope Antenna Tv stays but I very much doubt we'll have it much longer.
