VoIP Spam Warning and Vendors to Avoid

This is a notice to all members.

A company called Digital Voice continues to spam these forums.

Representatives of the company post threads discussing the service and how great it is and then they post links to the site.

The reality is that this posters are being paid by the company to do this or they are current customers of the company whose compensation is free telephone service for the spammers.

When contacted via email by Digital Home Canada the company ignored our request to cease and desist.

After repeated offenses, Digital Home contacted the company by phone.

The representative, who would only give his name as Mike, said that "he didn't care" and hung up on us.

It's our sincere suggestion that all of our readers fight spammers and avoid this company when considering VoIP providers.

Unitz

This company is priceless. They had an employee spam the forum. When I contacted them, they said that posting on a forum was not spam because Spam is email. When I told them that they were now on our blacklist, they said that they would have a lawyer review this.

So if you are the lawyer, please review the Rules of the Forum that were agreed to by the Unitz employeer with special emphasis on
Commercial posts and links are not allowed - Commercial is anything that is not a personal website (i.e./ has a registered domain) or has any types of ads on it. If you are in doubt about what is okay and what is not then contact the moderator of the forum or the administrator prior to posting. Posting links containing affiliate codes will result in the thread being deleted and the immediate banning of the poster.

No selling of products or services - we do not allow selling of any type of product or service in forum threads. If you wish to sell or promote a product or service on this site then you are required to pay for advertising. The only exception is for private individuals who wish to sell personal items in our Buy and Sell forum

CIA,

This internet / VoIP company has signed up several employees on our forum who posed as "consumers" extrolling the benefits of CIA. When confronted they simply did not respond.

Please check out this thread to read about the unhappy experiences of many of our members with CIA.

Another spammer from UNITZ has been turfed from the site.

After threatening legal action against this site, they started spamming again.

Please don't support spammers and avoid this company

Reliaclear Voip service

these guys were one of the scummiest spammers ever. These signed up as four different users and continued to post in various threads about there lousy service. All links point to this thread so hopefully people searching for a review of the ReliaClear Voip service will find this thread.

For the search engines:
