Eastlink Wireless in NB

Anybody use Eastlink Wireless in NB? I know it's been in Moncton for a while. Just came to Fredericton this week and I'm thinking about switching because their pricing is really competitive (and they have a promotion to pay up to $200 to buyout existing contracts). Just curious if anyone has experience with the service.

I switched over from Koodo to Eastlink (Moncton area). What you save in price, you'll lose in service quality especially outside of the cities.

Percentage-wise, I'd say Eastlink is about 75% of what Koodo offered me. Which works out, for me, still a better deal than Koodo.

Good to know, thanks. We ended up signing up and inside Fredericton the service has been really good. Given that it just started up, I'd expect usage to be pretty low. Haven't left the city yet, so I don't know how it gets when you start roaming.

Do they still roam on Rogers? I know they did when they first launched, and that kept me away from them. Rogers coverage in the Maritimes was really bad at the time.

They can roam on Rogers, Bell, or Telus, as the CRTC mandates wholesale rates for the national carriers to allow roaming for the regional ones (to boost competition). They may favor Rogers first if it's available, I don't know. But if you can't get Rogers where you are, I was told at the store you'd get Bell instead.
