Warning, if you put your TV's volume control to 100%, and you are watching cable tv, when you switch to another input, like lets say a DVD or VCR, you will risk having the volume extremely LOUD, it may pierce your ears.
To avoid this, you can have your TV control the volume from the rogers box, there is a setting in the rogers box called "Fixed" under audio, right now you have it to variable. if its fixed, the sound coming into your TV from the devices like dvd, cable box and vcr will be pretty consistant, and you will only need one remote to adjust the volume, which to me makes sense and is a lot easier to cope with..
