It's ridiculous that Videotron has so much market share but still take a long time to get HD channels.

Vidéotron has applied to the CRTC to launch an English-language channel

Quote:
MONTREAL — Anglophones in the greater Montreal area could get yet another television channel with local programming as soon as next spring.

Videotron has applied to the CRTC for a licence to launch an English-language community TV channel.
Quote:
Montreal hasn’t seen English community TV programming since about 2000, three years after Videotron acquired CF Cable TV. Dessureault told The Gazette that the company started looking at adding English programming back to its community channel in 2009, “but when we started looking at strategic development for (the channel) we said that didn’t make sense.” So instead they decided to rebrand the community channel from Vox to MAtv and then move on creating an English version.

Not sure how Videotron is pricing the Superstations.
Can you get them individually a-la-carte or must be all bundled together in a package.

Also, nothing mentioned on the HD availability of English Disney/Family Channel.

Not sure if I believe any of this until I see it.

I also read in another forum these HD channel additions are region dependent so while greater Montreal may get them other areas may not.

If this is true i'm cancelling Videotron and going OTA until Fibe is going to be available on my street.
I'm sick of paying such high prices like HD fees for such a small selection of HD CHANNELS.
