Just wondering if the Hard Drive from a Bell Fibe 2262 could be swapped into a 9241 or 9242 Receiver.Someone is selling two bell fibe 2262 for very cheap and i need a Hard Drive.
Check the list of compatible drives, if the ones in the Fibe machines match 'exactly', then I would expect they will be fine but remember they must match, exactly.
Makes no difference a Drive is a Drive, you just have to get an EXACT match to the list in this Forum, otherwise it will not work. The PVR will carry out a Formatting so any content will be removed.
They are different makes of PVRs so drive compatibility is unlikely. Bell satellite PVRs (made by Dish) are very fussy about drive models. It doesn't help that many of the drives have been out of production for 5 years or more.
