Do Bell's newer PVR's consume less power than the older 9241?

It drives me crazy that my 9241 seems to be spinning around the clock and is always warm, even though I mostly only have it set to record several shows per week.

Does anyone know if Bell's current PVR has better power management / uses less energy?

On a related note, does anyone know how much energy the 9241 uses per month?

Based on the following post, the 9242 uses around 40 Watts on or "off". I would expect the 9241 to be similar - the second link seems to confirm that, but I've seen other posts saying around 30-40Watts, it may depend on the firmware and if the HDD spins down. The 9400 seems to use 17W on, 9W "off" - less than half of the 92XX.

40 Watts continuous equals about 30 kWh/month, which is around $3-$6/month, depending on your (all in) utility costs.
