Just made the call, which answered right away. CSR wasn't sure what he was doing, put me on hold, then I was fortunately disconnected. I say fortunately because when I called back I got a lady who knew exactly what she was doing and the 9242 is on the way.
She also gave very detailed instructions on everything from swapping the cables one by one to telling me I could keep the 9200 and watch the recordings even if it's disconnected from the satellite. All this was unsolicited (I already knew all that), but interesting just the same that she would go through all that.
