Sympatico Email - duplicate messages

The last week or so I've been receiving duplicates of some emails (same time stamps, identical) but not all.
Using Bell/Sympatico email; Windows 7 Pro 64 OS; Thunderbird 24.4.0 client, with rules in effect; Trend Titanium IS AV.
Can't discern a pattern yet as to which get duplicated and which don't.
Reviewing the "deleted" folder on Bell's web client shows only one of each message (test of today only), so it's internal to my set up.

Anyone else experiencing this?

For no apparent reason, several times during the past few months, I've received duplicates of stuff in my Rogers/Yahoo inbox on my Outlook client. I now make sure that the inbox contains very few, if any items by moving them to folders or deleting them on Yahoo. Your issue may be something similar - perhaps there is an occasional date-stamp mixup and the client goes out and gets messages again.
