What PC monitors are 3D ready?

Just saw the article on DH about an upgraded of PowerDVD being able to play Blu-ray 3D discs when they become available.

I have a Blu-ray drive in my machine and am looking for a new monitor so I want to get one that could display 3D discs.

So what do I look for? Can any monitor on the market today be used for watching 3D or do I need to look for something special?

ATI 5-series video cards (except the lowest 54xx) are supposed to be 3-D ready.

So for 3D, are we saying you need an appropriate graphics card and frame rate doubled monitor?

You do need a 3D monitor.
The graphics card needs to have a dual link DVI connection and a dual link cable to the monitor. This means it is a full pin bank on the DVI connection. Most modern graphics cards, I think should support this, although I've read the HD 5xxx cards are the best for rendering HD.
