Exclamation Wireless USB PC-to-TV solution

Something new - I don't think it's available (or approved for use) in Canada - it uses the WiMedia Ultra Wideband technology based on the Multiband OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Modulation) standard.

It is manufactured under many re-branded logos, all using Wisair's chip:

$170 USD at Amazon in the States:

Update - it's at TigerDirect for $212 CAD:

Essentially, you plug a USB dongle transmitter into your Windows (or soon Mac) PC, and the receiver via HDMI or DVI into your TV. It's limited to 30-feet line-of-sight.

Stay tuned...

I would back right off as it didn't say 1920x1080.

This is not cheap so you do want to make sure it can stream 1080p flawlessly.

It is what amounts to a USB graphics card. I don't trust those on principal, especally for high bandwidth content. It might work for presentation grade display though.
