USB TV Tuner

What would be the best, cheapest USB TV tuner for an RF coax analog TV signal?

I'm looking for a USB TV tuner for my laptop that comes with software that records also.

Hauppauge makes a lot of decentTV tuners, including one about the size of a thumb drive: Even retail you should be able to find something like that for under $100.

The issue with most USB tuners is they don't have a hardware MPEG encoder for analog (NTSC). Not having a hardware encoder means a software encoder is required, using up CPU processing power. One that does have a hardware MPEG encoder is the WinTV-HVR-1950, though its digital tuner isn't as good as some.

this is the best deal out there right now
Nero LiquidTV TiVo PC $37.99 Free S&H
The Nero LiquidTV TiVo PC deal is back for early Black Friday.
Prices good through 11/30/2009, also says "While supplies last".

This generated alot of interest last time around at this price.

apply $5 off coupon 7SP5NWLA45

(if not working, use 10% off coupon AP-4210-BJ6C)

Even if you don't want the tivo software it is a good deal
