streaming video from the Met

Hello all:

I am having some issues with the flashplayer movie player that the Metropolitan Opera uses for their streaming video. I originally thought it was my internet speed, but having got an upgrade and having the same problems I am at a loss as to what the problem may be...below is the scenario...if anyone has any ideas please help...I don't want to pay for a service that does not work, at least for me...

I am experiencing dropout of the signal after about the first 10 minutes of any video, and there after the dropouts happen every couple of minutes or so... I have adjusted the Flashplayer settings as per the instructions in the FAQ section of the site. I have tried various operas, does not matter which title I choose, whether HD or normal. I have tried turning off firewall and virus software, makes no difference. It seems to be more of an audio problem, although the last opera I tried the whole video froze..

My system is as follows:

Download bandwidth: 5.5 Mbps Telus ADSL
Operating system Windows XP SP3
CPU: AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.71 GHz, 2.00 GB RAM
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 5770 850 MHZ 1GB 4.85 GHZ GDDR5
Browser: Firefox 3.5.5
Flash version: 3.03
Zone Alarm firewall
AVG virus software

here's hoping...

more information

These are the criteria for the Met Player movie player that the Metropolitan Opera uses to play their streaming video with.

This is my system,

Download bandwidth: 5.5 Mbps ADSL (more like 2.5-3.5 on a good day)
Operating system Windows XP SP3
MB : Asus M3A78-EM
CPU : AMD Athlon 7750 Dual Core 2.71 GHz, 2.00 GB RAM
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 5770 850 MHZ 1GB 4.85 GHZ GDDR5
2GB Ram
Browser: Firefox 3.5.5
Flash version: 10,0,32
Zone Alarm firewall
AVG virus software

I am connecting the A/V output via HDMI from the video card to my A/V receiver. The video is superb, but after 10 minutes I get an audio drop out, then dropouts that occur every few minutes. I have tried the videos without the firewall and the virus software, it makes no difference.

I did a couple of tests using the site the the Metropolitan Opera help line asked me to: http://research.movenetworks.com/diag.
