I was. Watched it Sunday night and enjoyed it. A bit disappointed that they waited until the last 5 min to show Daenerys. It was such a cliffhanger from the end of season 6 but i guess they have 13 more episodes to fill. And they ended season 7 episode 1 with another cliffhanger. Gah!!

Not sure i liked them showing all the little clips from previous seasons as a reminder. All that did was waste the first 5 min. Anyone that is a Thrones fan knows exactly what has happened and probably watched each past episode at least twice.

Was a bit confused at start of S7E1 when Walder Frey was speaking. Arya Stark killed him in S6. But quickly it dawned on me that it was Arya that hatched the scheme to do away with the Frey clan. She is such a badass.

I will watch it next week, I was busy last nite trying to entertain my guests, and prepare food and put the little ones to bed, i am not addicted to game of thorns like some people on here are, so I can watch it next week, or heck, even next month for all I care and I will still be happy.

from what i have read, the amount of remaining episodes are less than the previous seasons with 7 this year and only 6 next. Many of the episodes will be much longer so that the actual viewing hours will be same as previous seasons.

It's one final season of 13 episodes with airing times that are split over two years. I just hope they don't wait until it's this late in 2018 to air the final 6.
