The U.S. networks will be announcing their fall schedules this week. To get things started, here are the shows from the current season:

The CW will launch its 2017-18 season in October, with premiere dates to be announced later. The season will once again kick off with the exclusive telecast of the IHEARTRADIO MUSIC FESTIVAL. The CW will also celebrate the holiday season with an exclusive telecast of the IHEARTRADIO JINGLE BALL; air dates will be announced at a later date.
The CW has two new dramas for midseason, “Black Lightning” and “Life Sentence.” and three returning dramas, “The 100,” “The Originals” and “iZombie.”
The CW Network's exclusive telecast of the IHEARTRADIO MUSIC FESTIVAL will air on consecutive nights, Wednesday, October 4 (8:00-10:00pm ET/PT) and Thursday, October 5 (8:00-10:00pm ET/PT). The second night was originally scheduled to air on Friday, October 6.
Season 5 of “The Originals” will be the last one for the series. The show begins production next week and will air later in the 2017-18 season. The show will pass the 90-episode mark with its final season, which like Season 4 will run for 13 episodes.
The CW announced the Fall line-up for the fourth season of its One Magnificent Morning Saturday morning (8:00am-11:00am ET/PT) programming block, targeting teens and families. (Source)

The CW Network has ordered new seasons of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US and MASTERS OF ILLUSION. The series will join never-before-seen original episodes of the improv comedy WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? in Summer 2018. Premiere dates and times will be announced later. (Source)
Following the holiday break, SUPERGIRL and DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW will rotate through the The CW's Monday 8pm time period, offering fans 23 consecutive weeks of original episodes.
SUPERGIRL will return from its midseason break Monday, January 15 for a four week run of original episodes. Starting on Monday, February 12, DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW will move into the 8pm time period for 9 weeks until its third season finale on April 9. After LEGENDS completes its run, SUPERGIRL is back with brand new episodes starting Monday, April 16 until its season finale on June 18.
Additionally, The CW will have five shows premiering this midseason, including two new series BLACK LIGHTNING, premiering Tuesday, January 16 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT), and LIFE SENTENCE, premiere date TBD.

@BGY11 They probably only shot 4 Supergirl episodes before they fired the exec. producer/showrunner. Now Berlanti will have to run all 4 superhero shows himself, which accounts for the production delays. More info.
Most CW shows I don’t watch till after the season is over because of all these breaks. I remember that up until 2005 when I started watching Prison Break I had never heard of a “Fall Finale” and it’s been annoying me ever since.

THE 3rd ANNUAL HOWIE MANDEL STAND-UP GALA will premiere Wednesday, January 10, 8:00-9:30 pm ET/PT on The CW. It will be followed by a brand new comedy special, ANIMAL CRACKERS, hosted by Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino. (Source)

Olivia Munn has been set to host the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards, which are set for January 11 at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica and airing on the CW. (Source)
For the upcoming 2018-2019 season, The CW Network will expand its primetime schedule to include Sunday night, growing its line-up of original first-run programming from five nights to six nights. When the new season launches in October 2018, The CW will offer 12 hours of primetime series each week, Sunday-Friday (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT). (Source)
