New to the channel is the crime series Rizzoli & Isles, about a tough-as-nails detective and an impeccably dressed coroner. Rounded out by returning series Royal Pains, Misfits, Covert Affairs and Lost Girl, the winter schedule launches January 3.

Capturing almost nine million viewers during its first season run in the U.S., TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles follows the quirky relationship of Boston detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon, Law & Order) and medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander, NCIS). Polar opposites, Rizzoli and Isles are good friends who decipher the toughest cases in town and bust Boston's most notorious criminals. Supporting cast includes Bruce McGill, Lorraine Bracco, Lee Thompson Young and Jordan Bridges.

Season 1 airs Tuesdays beginning January 3 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Heating things up is the regal return of Hank and Evan Lawson in season three of Royal Pains. USA Network’s highest rated series follows the life and times of everyone’s favourite doctor-on-demand, Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) and his brother Evan (Paulo Costanzo) as they live it up in the Hamptons. Season three guest stars include Wilmer Valderrama, Molly Sims,Julie Benz and more. Royal Pains, Season 3 airs Wednesdays beginning January 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The critically-acclaimed British import Misfits makes a highly-anticipated third season comeback to the Showcase schedule. This time around Rudy, the new kid on the block, is learning the ropes misfits-style – meaning little community service and plenty of cleaning up corpses. With zombies, time-travel and some complicated relationships brewing, the superhero series boasts a large order of mayhem. Misfits, Season 3 airsThursdays beginning January 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

New episodes of Covert Affairs airs Sundays beginning January 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Everyone’s favourite succubus returns for the mid-season premiere of Showcase’s number one original drama, Lost Girl airing Sundays beginning January 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
