Zoomer Wireless - Anybody using it?

As a retired senior and not a big cellphone user, I need a cheap plan with some data add-ons. Sugar Mobile might work for Android users but it's death for iPhone users [no iMessage, no FaceTime etc.]

Zoomer offers plans for $17.00/month for 60 min. + 60 texts. with an data pkg of 100MB for $10. With the family plan shared data plans available. Coverage is LTE [not with my iPhone 4s, but] across Canada as they 'piggy-back off of either Rogers or Bell.

It seems like the best deal for me but would like to hear stories from the field.

The cheapest I have found is Speakout7eleven.ca. They start at $25 for 1 yr. and data addons $10

I've used Zoomer Wireless for almost the last 2 years. I'm not a senior but they had the best pricing for my usage patterns. They are just a sub-brand of Rogers and therefore use the Rogers network, which means service is the same. From a customer service perspective though they are great. Calls and chats go to a team in Vancouver, it's not outsourced. Over all I'm very very very happy with them.

I'm sure there's also cheaper options (like prepaid as kebb mentioned) depending on your usage patterns but if Zoomer gives you what you want at the price point you're happy with, they aren't a bad choice.
