SHAW/Wind Presence

A full size Wind shop is being set up right next to Koodo at Metrotown (suburban Vancouver),
exactly where Shaw has a free-standing cable service kiosk,
and on the main hall from the bus loop.
Bigger than any of the old Wind booths, which suggests serious promotion coming soon.

Subtle changes with Shaw's (coming soon?) Purchase of Wind

Has anyone else noticed that instead of "WIND" and "WIND AWAY" being displayed for the carrier it now says "HOME" and "AWAY"?

That's just started happening in the last couple of weeks...

Samsung Galaxy S III Android 4.4.2 and a recent SIM card change (It did say "WIND" after the SIM change)

Yes, I did notice that. I am intermittently seeing H and not just 3G in areas throughout Calgary.

They made that change to make the difference between roaming and not roaming more clear. There was no functional change as a result.
