Is Wind phasing out pre-paid ?

On their web site there is barely any info regarding pre-paid service. Are they ending pre-paid ? In their paper brocures there is zilch.

I doubt they're phasing it out, but they're pushing people toward post-paid because they want to lock them in with device subsidies.

They have gotten rid of pay per use plans. They only offer monthly plans now but they are offered in both prepaid and postpaid flavours.

Don't just complain about Wind. All the big boys are downplaying Prepaid not just Wind. At Rogers until this last month the only prepaid phone offered was a Win8 Nokia. Given that the prepaid customer probably wants just a basic phone for voice calls it was a ludicrous single offering that would not make any prospective customers interested in setting up an account. I'm expecting prepaid to be gone in a few years.
