I'd guess it's the same as they recently rolled out in BC: implementing the additional spectrum they acquired in the Shaw shuffle, which will help data speeds in congested areas.
In looking at the coverage map, I think they put equipment in the new tower that is near Stoney Trail and Crowchild (Tuscany). The maps for that area have improved coverage.
The press release is rather ambiguous on the technical details. Though any improvement to service is welcomed by subscrribers, I'm sure.
