Looking for a CDR with HDD that is NOT Yamaha.
Yamaha released CDR-HD1500 several years ago. It's a standalone CDR with built-in HDD so one can transfer (say) tape to its HDD, edit the start and end point, then burn the resulting edit to a CD-R.
3 problems with the above choice:
1. I would never buy anything Yamaha (other than musical instruments)
2. It uses CD-R For Consumer (that is rare and a lot more expensive)
3. Yamaha is discontinuing the product, so product support will be zero to non existent
The question is, although I can easily find standalone audio CD-R that uses regular CD-R, I can't find the one with built-in HDD with capability nearing the Yamaha CDR-HD1500.
Without resorting to a PC solution, is there any other solution out there?
Thank you verymuch beforehand.
