Bell / HTC manufacturer warranty
I picked up an HTC Incredible S smartphone around 8 months ago and last weekend it stopped working. Took it into Bell and was told it was the charger connection that had gone, could require a minor soldering fix or a full board replacement. If it's the first, it'll be covered under warrant, if it's the second it wont.
I don't have the insurance because it seems like a waste of $.
I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience trying to get phones fixed through HTC - specifically whether they typically write stuff off as a warranty fix?
Like I said, the phone is only 8mths old and I'm not some teen who throws my stuff around. Pisses me off that I'm already running into an issue and that it might not be covered.
