It appears that Shaw has removed Internet 60 from the plans they offer. The only options now are 5, 15, 30, 150. I asked about it on the Shaw forum and got no response. They are really pushing the 150 plan now.
If you log in to your SHAW account and choose Internet/Change Internet Plan
you will find a $49.90 for a year plan, $79.90 second year.
Good if you like the bundle options.
Heard from Shaw. They Have two Internet 150 plans now, One with unlimited data for $135.00/month one with 1TB for $100.00/month.
Internet 150+ (more commonly seen as Internet 150 Plus) is the same speeds as regular Internet 150. But it comes with unlimited data! It comes with a regular price of $135 a month but you can also get it on a 2-year ValuePlan for $99.90 a month.
From a TPIA standpoint I have not seen any crtc filings yet to remove the 60 meg package, so for now 3rd party ISP's can still sell the 60 Meg package if they choose. I just can't believe how much Shaw's prices have creep-ed up since I last looked, and the fact that they still have data caps...
