Hey Guys,
I just signed up with Bell Fibe service today(300Mbits/s Down - 100Mbits/s Up) using the Bell Home Hub 3000. Everything seems to work fine yet, My Mac OS X Messages App doesn't seem to send or receive. Has anyone else experienced this before? I'm new to bell, and was running with Rogers previously no more than 8 hours ago and had no issues sending Messages via the Mac and having them sync on my iPhone. Now on Bell I can send iMessages on my iPhone while connected to WiFi but not from my Mac. Connecting to a different internet source seems to work fine, but then I switch back and it fails again.
I have tried to port forward all the ports for iMessage and FaceTime using the above article:https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT202078 with no luck.
I have installed 'little snitch' and viewed a few extra ports with no success.
I have also tried to DMZ the machine that is using Messages, and it did not work. When I select 'Advanced DMZ' which seems to allow the machine to use the WAN IP address nothing will load on that machine.
Has anyone else experienced this before? or if anyone can provide any suggestions? Messages and facetime on the mac are super useful.
Hope someone can help
