Buying a used home hub

An acquaintance of mine has offered to sell me his home hub 3000. I am not even sure if it was purchased or if he rented it as I do not know him that well. Is that something that can be bought used? If so I take it I would need to call in bell and get them to add it. Thanks

Get him to give you the serial number. Contact Bell and they will tell you if it can be sold or not.

They are rented and he'll get dinged if he ever cancels the service and doesn't return it.
