Actiontec to Actiontec

Does anyone know the proper way to connect one actiontec to another one throughout a house. I'm just trying to get strong wifi signals in seperate areas. I have a cat5 from port one on the main one to port one on the second one.

I have the second one in bridge mode and have both on seperate channels.

The problem is on the second actiontec. I can hardwire to it no problem but the wifi is really off.

Is there some other settings I should tinker with?

I have the same setup, I just
1. changed the IP of the 2nd Actiontec to 192.168.55.1
2. setup Transparent bridge
3. tape over white WAN port so I don't accidently plug anything into it.

just make sure to verify wireless settings as both should be different.
