Question Amber Light on Modem

I've noticed an amber light on one of the three lights on the Bell Modem. I assume the three lights are the TV, Internet and home phone lines. The light on the far left is amber, the others are white. Any one know what this means?

If you are talking about the Home Hub 3000, the first light of three (leftmost one) is some sort of indicator that there is a message of some type from the modem.

Mine suddenly turned orange recently, and pressing it displayed the message "Your modem is working correctly" on the front panel display. (Helpful, eh?)

Despite the light, all seemed to be working normally though.
A reboot did not fix it. I had to pull the battery AND the power cable to cycle the modem.
After doing so, the light went back to normal

Thanks for the reply. I have the same modem as you do. I phoned Bell and I'm not sure what he was trying to tell me but there was no problem with the modem (I got the same message by pressing the amber button as you did) but he mentioned something about a "trial" whatever that means. I think I'm the first, if not the only one on the line behind my house to have Fibe installed so maybe it's just something experimental. I don't know. I'll try your suggestion. If it goes back to amber again, at least you'll know why (I think!).

Have the same issue, left led turns orange every time after a power outage (or the ups battery kicks in, I guess). Other than the orange light, everything seems working just fine. You can make it go back to white color by simply pressing the reset button (on the side of the hub 3000) for 5 seconds.
