Gray Hoverman: to split or not to split?

For original design, unifying halves to solid mesh gives NO penalty (neither SWR, nor Gain)
For highly optimized 10-rod design, using 10 rods instead 2x10 half-rods gives small penalty in SWR and Gain.

Is it worth of to split?

I followed your idea of the full mesh reflector for my GH 7" and the result has been an increase in the signal at the tv.

Originally the spacing was 1.5". I made the reflector adjustable and it is now a 4.5" setback. I can't measure much more than the signal strength. Thanks .
