Here's the advice offered by goforit in this thread:
Antennas Direct 91XG vs Antennacraft MXU59
The elements look exactly like those on the UHF portion of my HD-7696 (which, frankly, was a disappointment and didn't meet my expectations).
The one surprise is that, atypical to other Winegards I have, this doesn't use a balun cartridge. Instead it ships with a traditional-looking balun, black in color labeled only with "MATCHING TRANSFORMER" and no other hints of origin. For what it's worth, it doesn't look exactly like the AP-1000.
One minor annoyance is that there's not a strain relief on the boom for the balun's 300-ohm twinlead. There are two sets of posts, on the top for a VHF lead and bottom of the boom for the balun's attachment.
I'll be giving this new antenna a workout in the next few days to see how it measures up against the AntennasDirect 91XG. Since I do have a number of baluns on hand, I'll select the best of the bunch to get the least loss. We're fortunate in the Dallas area to have both channel 14 and 51 and a good dispersion of everything in between per TV Fool:

Antennas Direct 91XG vs Antennacraft MXU59
Because the MXU59 was simply too lengthy for my attic access, I took this advice to heart and now have the Winegard HD-9032 in my possession. Since the boom is in two parts (10 reflectors on each segment), this antenna will fit.
