Evening Holl_ands.

I'll see about putting it together and on some saw horses and getting you some numbers.
I'll double check the measurements I already provided.

The second antenna was identified as a Archer Radio Shack 15K1096X VHF

Do you want measurements for that one as well to add to your database?

If you want to take the time to measure an Antenna, I'll take that time to punch numbers into one of my 4nec2 Models and post EVAL Performance Results, so you'll KNOW how well it performs. In this case, I'll also prepare the dozen or so Charts and Upload to my imageevent Website, since I don't have very many Lo-VHF Antenna Models.

BTW: Google didn't recognize that p/n....and I haven't taken the time to search on-line Archer/R-S Catalogs....do you have any Performance info on that Antenna???

I originally thought it was an JFD.
Looks like Radioshack cloned it. The JFD is the 1964 catalog. The Archers are the 1965.

Here are the measurements for the Archer.
I may need to revisit the sweep of the elements. I came up with 53 degrees.
Where it says "bar". There is a connecting bar between the elements.
Where is says "coil" there is a connecting coil between the elements.
91 1/4 is where the Balun is connected. That is also the terminus point for the feed lines which run back to 0.

If you need anything else or clarification or that I presented something incorrectly please let me know.

Note.
I remeasured the sweep of the elements.
They appear to be at about a 57 degree angle.

Yes, I have printed out the info, and you are NEXT in line....

After I tweak my existing 4nec2 Model for wildwillie's 4-Bay Bowtie LPDA:
Bow tie LPDA

Meanwhile I've been cranking out Optimized Twin-Boom LPDA Models with various numbers of Elements while overseeing my 16-yo grandson who has been finishing up various FD-Yagi Models with 2-4 Elements and has now moved on to various FLF-Yagi Models that are not yet ready for Upload [Flat Loop Fed, simply rotate Folded Dipole so in same PLANE as other Elements]. Note comparison of Ch22 9-El FLF-Yagi to OTHER Ch22 9-El Yagis, where FLF has OUTSTANDING F/B & F/R Ratios in a NARROWBAND Antenna....unfortunately, I haven't YET seen this in Full UHF Band FLF's....although we are still trying adjustments to the Optimization TARGET-FUNCTION:
Interpeting NEC results
https://imageevent.com/holl_ands/yagis [2, 3, 5 + 7 El UHF FD-Yagis are DONE; 4 + 6-El In-Process]

There's the Olympics...and when the Weather Permits [i.e. Outside Temp 74-degG or higher...NOT this week], I've been working on various "issues" in my "new" 2006 Volvo V70 "R" TurboWagon [300-hp, only 66K-mi]. Owner prior to the one I bought it from had installed a Kenwood GPS/HD-Tuner.....but instead of simply using Off-The-Shelf Adapter Cables to excellent FACTORY DIVERSITY ANTENNA System, he hacked up the wiring and added an tiny Metra AM/FM Antenna....that never worked....cuz wires were simply twisted together and had come apart MANY years ago. And I "hope" I'm nearly done replacing the Foggy Aftermarket Back-Up Camera....or will have to order a Wireless Kit if the [undocumented] Factory Wiring is hozed.

BTW: Since there are apparently NO aftermarket GPS/Receivers for N.A. Market that support DIVERSITY FM ANTENNAS [like MOST Factory Receivers have done for MANY years now], I had to buy a PAIR of Metra Volvo Factory Antenna to Motorola Antenna Connector Adapters, move the wire from one to the other so it attaches to BOTH Volvo Antennas (Left Rear Side Window + Rear Bumper so Quasi-Omni coverage] and then I connected THAT to a hacked up Metra Mercedes Dual Antenna Cable Adapter [with RF Combiner]....now I can actually listen to FM/HD-FM...but AM isn't very good [why not???]....and FM is NO WHERE NEAR as Sensitive as my 1998 V70 GLT with DIVERSITY Antennas in L/R Rear Side Windows [Minimal NULLS to Front/Back]. I'm THINKING of going the next step and buy a used Volvo (or other???) Double Din Receiver (I do NOT "need" GPS) to restore the DIVERSITY Antenna Combining Gain [esp. if I can identify one with Maximal Ratio Combining vice simple Switching Diversity Combining....although I would probably PAY someone to sort out the MESS that someone did instead of using Off-the-Shelf DIN to Aftermarket Cable Wiring Adapters].

Not to worry.
I just wanted to make sure you got the info.

I'll get the other antenna together for you as soon as we get some good weather.

You def have a lot of irons in the fire.

Sounds like you are having fun though.

Nice that you have the grandson engaged in it. Pass on all the knowledge you can.
