I was just searching on the internet and came across this from Star Choice on their website:

"Check out NHL® Centre Ice® during our free preview running October 3, 2007, through October 9, 2007."

know im not too sure if its the same for the rest of the cable/satellite providers.

As for the OHL Action Pak, I am a big fan of this package, and like it a lot, cause its a different taste in hockey, and a lot of good players come from the OHL. I was really excited when they added this to the super sports pak.

after checking that schedule you posted yesterday, it would seem pointless for them to offer a preview during the pre-season due to the lack of televised games.

i have also heard the preview mentioned for other carriers, but still can't find anything specific to rogers.

I don't know how Star Choice will do it, but Bell has always had a free preview the 1st week and also a week later in the year.

I subbed to Center Ice on Bell and we are getting some preseason games now. I don't know if Star Choice is showing these preseason games or not.

Maybe someone can fill us in.

Well it's nice to see that Rogers had 2 games in HD on Center Ice tonight. With the Sens/leafs game on TSN in HD, the only game that wasn't available on Rogers in HD is the Habs game and that would have been if they would add the new RDS HD channel.

Hopefully Rogers will keep offering HD games on Center Ice.

Since RDS broadcast the Habs game in HD, I wonder why it wasn't presented on CI in HD. Even if Rogers doesn't offer RDSHD as a channel there's no reason not to carry the games in HD on CI. I honestly don't understand that.

Currently Cogeco who carries The Super Sports Pack feed from Rogers is not carrying any HD games for the pack. The three channels that were for HD feeds (ch. 464 - 466) have been replaced with NBA League Pass.

Darryl how do you know they had two games last night in HD? I didn't see any expcet for the TSN game. Does anyone have a schedule? I find it ridiculous that we pay close to $30 a month and cant get a freeking schedule.

At least you Rogers subscribers got HD games. Out west we have 3 HD channels Shaw deemed neither of the VS games worth carrying.

On the plus side they seem to have a full slate of PHOENIX! in HD coming up! Hoo ray!

Seansational,

They were not listed in the programming guide for any of the HD SP channels (490's) and Rogers still doesn't seem to have a schedule up on their website but if you go to one of the channels for center which has nothing on it then it rotates through all the schedules for all sports on the sports pack. After waiting for it to cycle to the NHL schedule it showed the Detroit/Ducks game and Avs/Stars game as being on in HD on channel 490.

Sure enough I flipped there and watched a lot of both games. They were from Versus HD channel in the US. The Ducks game was on at 7 and the other started at 9:30. The Ducks game ended just after 9:30 and then they switched to the other. We didn't miss any action since both were on Versus and they didn't start showing the 2nd game until the 1st finished.

The programming guide on Rogers here in Ottawa shows 3 more games on the HD Sports Pack channels (490's).
