Jumpy display on Sony 46" Bravia W

I have a new HTPC and Sony 46" Bravia W display that don't seem to like each other. Or maybe they don't like being near each other. My Shaw HDTV cable seems to not like the PC and is reacting with convulsions.

I would like to have the sony as the only monitor for the PC but that isn't my primary issue right now. Whenever I have the TV hooked to the PC it seems to cause pixilation on many digital and HD cable stations fed from my cable box. The second I disconnect the monitor cable from the PC everything is crystal on cable.

Any thoughts on why this could be?

Oh, vc is 8600GT and I'm running DVI-HDMI out to TV.
