Whats the box at the bottom, blu-ray player? I went to the link and yeah it is.

Is that a released model or something we can expect to be a new model?

Here it is guys: Panasonic 2008 lineup of plasmas. Most interesting note is the introduction of a 46" plasma. As well as THX certification (Does that really mean anything anymore?), 24p support, and for their high end models they will be going to one sheet of glass similar to what Pioneer is doing.

46" plasma to compete head to head with the 46" Samsung, Sony, Sharp LCD's. This should make things interesting. Also four HDMI ports on the PZ800!

Forgot to mention that the new design looks pretty good.

Can't believe there coming out with 720p televisions. 1080i models in 2006 nobody is buying them now. In 2008 the best they can come up with is 720p at a cheaper price..

Umm how are the two and only 720p models (same series just different size) the best they can come up with? The rest of their line is 1080p.

There were rumors of a 150" plasma and it turned out to be real.

Ya right, 1080p 24frames but the price won't go down like they should. You got a choice of 720p for a reduced price wow? I can go buy a 720p 2006 42" for that price they are about to come out with in 2008 except giving you more contrast..It's like GM coming out with the new camaro wow??? Panny just given me what i didn't want to see anymore. Maybe they should go back and make some Tau CRT television at 480i or EDTV for 2009..

LOL dude, your post doesn't really make sense. Where did they post pricing? How do you know the pricing won't go down?

What do you want? 65" 1080p, infinite contrast, 24p, THX, 12 HDMI for $500?

Looks like Panny is playing the slim plasma game too. These are expected to be released 2010.
