game scaling latency's on sammy?

Since i started playin 360 games on my new sammy LN-S3292D, i noticed there are some slight timing problems (kind of like lag)

I put it on game mode, and it made it a bit better but they still don't run as smooth as they used to on my old crappy tube tv i had. What exactly does game mode do (manual doesn't explain) and what other fixes I can apply to minimize this problem?

I'm going to get a vga xbox cable soon so hopefully this will eliminate the problem altogether as it will not scale the 768 native of my tv to 720 anymore but just figured I'd ask while i could as I'm sure a lot of sammy owners are gamers.

thanks
