I would always negotiate on price myself but when I viewed this tv at a local establishment they had the Sony rep there who said that the A1E is in the LG W7 class and is priced 3 grand cheaper. I think he was trying to sell me and it sure seems to be a great tv I ended up going with the Panasonic thanks to a few being sent out early.
The thing is with the 2017 LG OLED TV's they apparently all use the same panel this year...so in theory the B/C7 should have the same PQ as their flagship W7...so what the rep told you makes no sense if he/she was talking about picture quality.
That's exactly what I said to the LG rep at Best Buy and he said that while the panels might be the same, it was something to the effect that LG doesn't treat them all equally and doesn't consider them the same. Not sure what that means exactly.
