White blinking band in THX Mode on Panny G25. Please help.

Hello,

I have a bizarre issue with my panasonic G25. Recently a white flashing band appeared at the top of the screen. It only happens in THX mode. Custom, Vivid, Game works fine.

Its an irritating problem since I see a huge difference between the THX and all other modes. Any ideas or experience with issue?

Thanks for your help.

I'm assuming this only happens on some channels - it's VBI information due to your TV being set to zero percent overscan. Here's the FAQ on the issue:

If the THX mode allows you, go into the user picture settings under advanced and change the size to 1 instead of 2.

If THX doesn't allow this, re-optimize the TV using custom mode. I know it can be changed there.
