Panny CT-34WX54 Service Menu

I have an old Panny CT-34WX54 and I was wondering if anyone knows how to get into the service menu

Thanks

See the following FAQ. Perhaps one of the Panasonic codes will work. However, heed the warnings in the FAQ:

All the links in that FAQ seem to lead to nowhere when looking up Panasonic.

Going from memory: Set the sleep timer to 30 minutes -> tune to channel 124 -> lower the volume to zero -> press the volume down button

I believe I've run into situations where the cable input was skipped so make sure you can actually tune cable channels before you go through these steps.

Sorry about that. The information used to be in one of the links. What it does say under Panasonic:

Quote:
5.9 PANASONIC TELEVISIONS

Read the _ SERVICE MODE WARNING _ before proceeding.

Panasonic uses a hex numbering system, without the service manual it's almost impossible to adjust.

I believe that the display in question offers an interactive menu, same as in the rear-projection displays in the PT-xxWX series.

I was able to get into the service menu... I needed to set the pincushion setting as when watching an sd show on an hd channel, i noticed that the edges were bowing out.. I also made sure that I copied all the info down before making any changes.. BTW, the service menu is not interactive, it is displayed as HEX.. For example here is the setting that I needed to change

PCC
00 6B 7C

Only the third set of characters are changeable

Thanks for the help guys
