DSR600 – Manual Timers

Based on previous experience, I saved myself a lot of trouble by accepting that the DSR600 timers need to be erased and re-entered Spring and Fall when the time changes.

The DSR600 clock changes with the time changes just fine. BUT,
the manual timers indicate the correct time as a constant, but are off by 1 hour when the event is triggered. Modifying the timers don't work, they must be erased and start over.

I guess if I used manual timers with my 630 I would have the same trouble, but I haven't tried that.

I hoped that Shaw Direct would fix this problem, but guess not.

You usually don't need to delete them. Just go into them as if editing and press the go back button or exit button. Just don't setup a new manual timer beyond a time change point in the days leading up to the time change. I have not had good luck with those. Existing timers usually reset by just going into the edit mode. Yes it's a nuisance bug but Shaw Direct doesn't seem to want to address it. Yes it happens with the 630.
