V-Code List

Hey all,

Somewhere (here I think, maybe another forum) I found a comprehensive Shaw direct V-code list.

I have been searching for 3 hours and can't find it again.

Can someone help me out and point me in the right direction?

It was a list of all LNB types (xKu, Quad, Dual Stacked) with both new and classic lineup.

Thanks.

Let's make a list! Then it should be a stickey.

vcode 4319 dual stacked / east coast classic?
4320 dual non-stacked quad / east coast classic
4321 dual xku quad / east coast classic

4321 xku quad / west coast classic

Looks like this is the same v-code as the east coast classic on the same LNB. Does east/west matter when it comes to v-codes? Seems like it might not.

It should, as it maps in the western vs eastern movie channels.

FWIW, my 305 (yes I still use one) is 4326, classic east, 4321 on the605, also Classic East. Maybe the prefix number is the channel map (east vs west)

Just checked a 319 and 4326 classic east xku also. Must have something to do with the older guide?

It is probably due to G1 channels. The 319 can receive 8PSK MPEG2 SD, if there are any, but not MPEG4.

what v-code is 4425? having some issues after changing from dual stacked to xKU on a 505. worked for a week after SD made the switch, but then lost piles of channels. Still had the old dual stacked dish, so I plugged in and seem to be getting all of the channels. Could the v-code have reverted on the 505? does not seem to be the one I remembered for dual stacked.

So the code had changed on its own. I had to have it re-sent by Shaw for the xKU just for this 505 unit.

Strange. It was running fine for over a week before changing. Now it is:

4330 - xku classic east

Never did find out what 4425 is.
