Best Buy Canada launches retail iPhone app
Best Buy Canada, owners of big box consumer electronics retailers Best Buy Canada and Futureshop, has released two iOS apps for the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad which let users search the respective retailers products.
The nearly identical Best Buy Canada and Futureshop apps let iOS users search the respective retailers entire catalogue as well learn more about each product through ratings, reviews and enlarged views.
LG Electronics unveils 3D line-up
LG Electronics today announced the imminent arrival in stores of a suite of 3D technology products which includes its new “Infinia” LED HDTVs along with its first 3D-capable Network Blu-ray Disc player and 3D active shutter glasses.
Available in 47- and 55-inch versions, the less expensive Infinia LX 6500 series of LCD HDTVs is available now while the more expensive LX9500 series of HDTVs will be in stores later this month.
