What else are we watching? Check it out. Here are Canada’s top 10 most-watched shows of 2016-2017:

1) The Big Bang Theory (CTV)

It’s sometimes surprising which shows turn up with mass followings. If you haven’t stumbled over it yet, this very well-written American sitcom centers on a pair of geeky physicists from Caltech who share an apartment, and the beautiful waitress-turned-pharmaceutical-rep down the hall, Penny. Shenanigans ensue. Friends and relatives also form a cast of recurring characters that fans love.

2) Survivor (Global)

Who can believe we are now in the 35th season of this hit reality show!

Survivor has its roots in a Swedish production called Expedition Robinson, which aired in Europe back in 1997. Love it or hate it, it’s here to stay.

The premise? A bunch of selected strangers are placed in a remote location on Earth, and must try to survive by finding their own food and shelter. Contestants face weekly challenges invented by the show and are strategically voted off by others. The last one standing wins the cash.

Is there hope for his soul after all these centuries?
