Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., announced the launch today of the Galaxy TabPro S, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The new tablet, which will be available for purchase online and in stores in Canada this February, is powered by Microsoft Windows 10, and offers full notebook PC functionality in a lightweight device.

According to Samsung, Galaxy TabPro S caters to high-efficiency users seeking to maximize their productivity, wherever they find themselves.

The tablet delivers full PC functionality with both Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro for business while being compatible with existing IT infrastructures.

The new tablet is 6.3 millimeters thick and weighs 693 grams. It comes with a full-sized keyboard cover with a flexible hinge that allows for dual-angle viewing.

The Pogo pin on the Galaxy TabPro S keyboard eliminates the need for pairing or charging separately.

Delivering the first Super AMOLED display for Windows to the market, Galaxy TabPro S features a multitouch screen with deeper color contrast. It is also the first tablet powered by Windows, to support LTE Cat 6 for connectivity.

Samsung’s new tablet has a battery that can charge fully in 2.5 hours, and offers up to 10.5 hours of battery life.

For enhance productivity, a multi-port adapter (HDMI, USB Type A & C) and Bluetooth Pen are available for purchase separately.
