Kobo eReaders and Tablets Now Being Sold Directly Online

Kobo’s line of eReaders and Arc tablets are now available for sale through its website, both in Canada and the United States.

Toronto-headquartered Kobo Inc. plans to continue on expanding retail and publishing partnerships globally as it aims to be the best eReading service in the world and stay on track to becoming a billion dollar company.

Kobo has registered more than 13-million readers in 190 countries on its eBookstore, which offers more than 3.2-million titles across 68 languages. So far in 2013, Kobo’s customers, either on smartphone, laptop, tablet, desktop computer, or eReading devices, have turned more than 1.3-billion pages, logging more than 10-million hours of reading time in the process.

In addition to eReader accessories, on April 2, Kobo.com will begin selling the award-winning Kobo Touch, Kobo Glo, Kobo Mini E Ink eReaders, and Kobo Arc 7″, a Google-certified Android tablet.
