AOL has just introduced a new video platform in Canada. The new service, AOL On, will deliver curated News, Entertainment, Style, Health, Autos, Business and Technology content across multiple digital platforms including desktop, tablet, mobile, mobile apps and connected TVs.

The AOL On video hub contains more than 500,000 videos with Canadian specific video content included in the mix. AOL Canada said that its video network delivers 169 million video streams a month reaching nearly 8 million monthly unique visitors.

Rashida Jeeva, GM of AOL Canada adds: "The launch of AOL On Canada comes at an incredible time for online digital media, with increasing demand of online video from advertisers and with consumers accessing online video at a rising rate, this new product only furthers our commitment to the online video experience."

An AOL On app is available for Apple iPads and iPhones as well as Android smartphones and tablets.

AOL plans to continue to deliver online video throughout its properties including AOL.ca, The Huffington Post Canada, Autoblog Canada, AOL Music Canada, Engadget and Moviefone.

American Express Canada will be the official advertising launch partner with 100 percent share of voice across all platforms of AOL On.
