Trend Micro today announced DirectPass, a secure password keeper that syncs via multiple devices. With the amount of online passwords the average end user has today, the idea of the product is to consolidate your online credentials, so you can have secure access to your accounts anywhere, without compromising their security.

As noted by the GM of Trend Micro Canada, Jim Short, “Most security threats arise when passwords are forgotten or because users try to remember them by writing them down or worse, making them weak in order to easily commit them to memory.” Some of the features DirectPass offers to mitigate these risks and keep your online experience secure include:

- Manage all online credentials in one application
- Secure browser for online banking or sensitive information
- Sync between PCs, smartphones, and tablets
