Sirius Canada now available on the Sonos Music System

Sonos, makers of wireless music systems for the home, and subscription satellite radio provider Sirius Canada week announced today that Sirius Canada is now available to Sonos users.

Beginning today, Sonos users can add Sirius via the “More Music” tab on any Sonos controller.

Rogers buys SCN and will launch CityTV Saskatchewan

Rogers Communications this week announced its intent to acquire a 100 per cent stake in Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN) and launch CityTV Saskatchewan.

Originally created by the Saskatchewan government as a commercial free educational channel, the station was bought last year by private concerns who aired Commercial-free educational and cultural programming between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time and commercial programming from the mid-afternoon on.

Food Network HD now on Shaw Direct

The Food Network HD, a high definition version of the Canada digital specialty channel, is now available on Shaw Direct (formerly Star Choice).

The station, which is a joint venture between Shaw Media and the Food Network in the U.S, will be on free preview to Shaw Direct through April 6th.
