Sportsnet World, formerly known as Setanta Canada, this week announced a four-year agreement with ESPN STAR Sports for all International Cricket Council events through 2015 on multiple Sportsnet platforms.

The Canadian media agreement includes eight major international tournaments, leading up to the world’s premiere cricket event – the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

All eight ICC events will be aired on Sportsnet World, formerly known as Setanta Canada, with additional coverage on Sportsnet.
“Fans in Canada now have access to more cricket coverage than ever before.” ," said Rogers Media VP Navaid Mansuri.

The four-year agreement includes the following eight events:
  • 2012 ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup
  • 2012 ICC World Twenty20
  • 2013 ICC World Cup Qualifier
  • 2013 ICC Champions Trophy
  • 2013 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup
  • 2014 ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup
  • 2014 ICC World Twenty20
  • 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup

The full broadcast schedule will be announced in the coming months.
