Masters Golf tournament airs on TSN, Global and Sirius XM

The first major PGA Golf tournament of the year begins this week at the Augusta National Golf Club in the city of Augusta, Georgia.

The Masters Tournament begins this Thursday April 6th and run through to Sunday April 10th with Phil Mickelson defending his green jacket against some of the top players in the world, including Martin Kaymer, Lee Westwood, Graeme McDowell, Rory McIlroy, Ernie Els and Tiger Woods, who is looking to win a fifth Masters title.

In Canada, television coverage of the tournament will air on TSN and Global TV while radio coverage will be available on Sirius XM.

TSN’s live coverage begins with The Masters Par 3 Contest on Wednesday, April 6 at 3 p.m. ET and continues with the first round on Thursday, April 7 at 3 p.m. ET. Along with live coverage of the second round on Friday, April 8 at 3 p.m. ET, TSN will repeat the third and final rounds at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday and Friday respectively.

Global TV will provide tee-to-tee coverage during the final two rounds. Coverage will be Saturday, April 9th from 2:30pm until 7:00pm ET and Sunday, April 10 from 1:00pm until 7:00pm ET,

If you can’t watch the golf coverage you can listen on XM channel 146 and on Sirius channel 209. Live hole-by-hole coverage from Augusta National will begin at 2:00 pm ET Thursday through Sunday of Masters Week and air through the end of each day’s play.

For smartphone users, live tournament play-by-play will also be available to listeners on SiriusXM Internet Radio and through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App which is available on iOS, Android and several BlackBerry devices.
